To install CR 2, simply double-click on the downloaded '.ccx' file. This will launch the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application, which will then guide you through the installation process. Once installed, you can access the plugin in Photoshop by navigating to 'Plugins > Configurator Reloaded 2'. CR 2 consists of 3 Panels. So you can use up to 3 different panels and dock them on different locations. They are named CR 2, CR 2 (Panel 2) and CR 2 (Panel 3)).

To add new buttons to the panel, follow these steps: 1. Click on the arrow icon located at the bottom of the panel. 2. Select the category that contains the command you wish to add. 3. Drag and drop the chosen command into an appropriate container. Note: Tools must be added to Tools Containers, and Brush Presets can only be added to Brushes Containers.

To rename a button or container, right-click on its name and select 'Rename' from the context menu.

To color a container or button, right-click on the button you want to color or on the name of the container. This action will bring up color options that you can select to customize the color of your containers or buttons.

To add icons to buttons, right-click on the desired button and select 'Rename'. For buttons in standard containers (excluding Brushes and Tools containers), you will have the option to select and assign icons.

You can easily change the order of buttons and containers by using the Drag-and-Drop method. Click and hold the button or container you wish to move, and then drag it to its new position. Release the mouse button to drop it into place.

New containers can be added via the panel menu, which is located in the top right corner of the panel (indicated by a 'burger' icon). From this menu, you can select from three different types of containers to add to your layout.

To adjust the size of the buttons, right-click on the name of the container and select 'Edit Look...' from the context menu. In the Edit Look dialog, you will find various options for customizing text size and other aspects, tailored to each type of container.

To collapse or extend a container, click on the name of the container. This action will toggle between collapsing and extending the container's view.

Workspaces in the panels are accessible via a drop-down list at the top. The default workspace on initial start-up is labeled 'Essentials'. When creating a new workspace, it begins as an empty space where you can add containers and buttons. Switch between workspaces using the same drop-down list. To create, rename, or delete workspaces, use the options available in the panel menu.

Disable the Drag-and-Drop feature by selecting 'Lock buttons' in the panel menu. Once activated, this prevents buttons and containers from being rearranged accidentally. However, you can still add new buttons from the SlideIn (Arrow icon on the bottom), even with 'Lock buttons' enabled.

You can open up to three CR 2 panels simultaneously and dock them in various locations. To open additional panels, go to 'Plugins > Configurator Reloaded 2' in Adobe Photoshop.

To assign custom scripts to buttons, go to the panel menu and select 'Add Custom Script'. You can use ExtendScript files (with a .jsx extension) or UXP script files (with a .psjs extension). The newly created button for the script will be added to the last standard container of the currently active workspace.

The Script Editor (introduced in version 2.2.0) allows you to create, edit, and execute ExtendScript and UXP scripts directly within the plugin. It's built on Monaco Editor (the same editor used in Visual Studio Code), providing IntelliSense, code completion, and a basic console for debugging. You can open the Script Editor in two ways: • From the plugin panel menu • From the SlideIn under 'My Scripts' Features include: • Write and edit single file scripts • Basic console for debugging (use $.writeln() in ExtendScript and console.log() in UXP) • IntelliSense and code suggestions • Save, load, delete, and search script presets Saved scripts appear in the SlideIn under 'My Scripts', where you can drag and drop them into your containers.

Since version 2 has been implemented from scratch, it is not possible to import workspaces from version 1 into version 2.

No, you are not allowed (and it's also technically not possible) to create and sell custom panels. If you wish to use the same created panels on a different machine, you can use the export/import functionality found in the settings.
